National Museum of the United States Army

Coming soon!

Ground has been broken and construction is underway for the National Museum of the United States Army at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. It will celebrate over 240 years of Army history and honor our nation’s soldiers – past, present and future – who served or serve in the regular Army, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard. The museum is a joint effort between the US Army and The Army Historical Foundation. It will celebrate Army history and traditions and provide educational experiences for visitors. An opening date has not been set, but is estimated to happen in mid-2020. Meanwhile, Dean Miller at Visit Fairfax ([email protected]) encourages you to plan reunions to visit the new facility!
