Games reunions play

As you can see by this games section of the website, there are countless choices for games to play at reunions. Many of the Goliath Games and Pressman Toys games have a long history and are well known to many generations already.

These are some of the benefits of game playing:

  • Strengthens relationships and bonds family members
  • Fosters better communication skills and character
  • Teaches good sportsmanship that will be applied to everyday situations
  • Releases endorphins to reduce stress and focus energy in a positive way
  • A fun way to learn about problem solving
  • A creative method to enhance reading skills of young family members.

Our surveys show that at least 20% of all reunions include a game of golf! So while the serious golfers will still be looking for courses and greens, the rest of the group can indulge in a game of Gator Golf (for 2-4 players, ages 3 and up). Set up different “greens” in a meeting room! How will you make a sand trap? What about a water hazard? Where will the gallery be? Time to get creative! A hole-in-one is a lot more fun with Gator Golf! Grab your flamingo golf club and aim to feed this hungry little Gator. Sink your putt by hitting your ball through the Gator’s mouth into his tail to score but watch out – he’ll flick your ball back with his tail for more putting action. The cute little birds on the Gator’s back serve as built-in score keepers. Award the winner a Green Jacket just like the Masters – or even green popsicles would be a gratifying reward! Time to tee up!

Rummikub (for 2-4 players, ages 8 and up) is one of the world’s best-selling and most-played games! Fast-paced, easy gameplay is ideal for people of different ages to play together. Players take turns placing numbered tiles in runs or groups, Rummy style – the first player to use all of their tiles wins! Reinforces STEM skills like sequencing, pattern recognition and planning.

Pass the Pen (for 3 or more players, ages 8 and up) is the world’s fastest drawing game because the pen tip disappears as you play! You’ll get 10 seconds to draw while all the other players guess. Is that a hamburger? A snowman? A sumo wrestler? A built-in timer makes the pen retract as you draw. If nobody guesses right, pass the pen to the next player to pick up where you left off. It’s fast, fun and guaranteed to draw out plenty of laughter.

Finally, trends come and go but some old familiar board games are forever and well-known to all generations! Chess, Checkers, Pahrcheesi and Bingo are just a few of the classics that have been with us for what may feel like a millennium. These are titles that will bring back memories and help families make new ones. The Pressman Red Box collection is perfect for any board game round up for classic fun and hours of joy.
