The West of the Pecos Museum in Pecos, Texas, hosts the annual Old Timers Reunion to kick off West of the Pecos Rodeo week. Festivities include the annual parade and Reeves County Sheriff’s Posse barbecue. One resident said, “You get to see all the old-timers, and Rodeo week is just an event I wouldn’t miss; it’s an institution.”
