We are celebrating our 100 years of Family Reunions. Our annual family gathering started in September 1923, in Laurel Delaware. This area was first settled by the Nanticoke Indians. . Our ancestors, James Gaines who is Native American and Easter Gaines- Former Slave are honorably recognized as the derivation of our family tree. We have one family member that has 160 grandchildren. In anticipation of a memorable occasion, we are soliciting merchandisers for donations that would be acknowledged in our centennial program keepsake.
