We’ve been telling you for some time now what a spectacular place the National Museum of the United States Army will be when it opens in mid-2020 – and now we’re giving you the opportunity to see first-hand what we’re talking about!
Visit Fairfax will host a special weekend familiarization trip, exclusively for Army reunion group planners. Planners (and their guests) attending for the weekend will be escorted on a special “hard hat” tour of the museum while it is still under construction. We will also visit George Washington’s Mount Vernon, the Smithsonian’s National Air & Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, and other local attractions of special interest to reunion groups. You’ll hear from expert speakers on reunion planning, exchange ideas and information with your fellow reunion planners, and see why we believe that Fairfax County, Virginia, is the perfect destination for your next reunion.
The cost to attend is just $149.00 per couple (you and a guest), and includes:
- Three nights’ hotel accommodations (planner and guest sharing a room)
- Free parking
- All meals
- All tours of local attractions, including a “hard hat” tour of the National Museum of
the United States Army
- Educational sessions about reunion planning
- Entertainment, networking, and more
The dates: Thursday, September 5 through Sunday, September 8, 2019. Plan to arrive by 3:00 PM Thursday; departure at your leisure following breakfast on Sunday morning.
Registration is limited to just 25 planners … register early to avoid disappointment. This is an event you won’t want to miss! To register, contact Dean Miller at Visit Fairfax today (firstname.lastname@example.org or 703-752-9509).
