Reunion school is in session
These are exciting opportunities to learn how to plan reunions. These workshops are ideal for beginners and experienced reunion organizers looking for new, fresh ideas.
We add new conferences, workshops and seminars to Reunions magazine and this online list as we learn about them. If you offer a conference, workshop or seminar about reunion planning, send details. Email to email@example.com, fax (414-263-6331) or send to Reunions magazine, PO Box 11727, Milwaukee WI 53211. Listings are free as a service for our readers.
We often learn about upcoming events too late to include in Reunions magazine (send six months in advance), but we always add them immediately to this site.
We include references to organizations who offer workshops without dates set so you should contact them to ask about their future plans; also remind them to notify us. Other good sources to learn about reunion planning workshops are at genealogy societies and their conferences and/or workshops. Check their programs and if you belong to a society, ask the program chairperson to arrange a reunion workshop or program.
The following list is for family reunion workshops, unless designated otherwise.
Many of these events are offered free though require pre-registration and do not accommodate walk ins. If there is a charge for the workshop, it is indicated.
Mahalia Simmons, Huger, South Carolina, Gant Family Reunion planner, says that "in every dilemma I have faced with my reunion you have helped. I’ve received your magazine for 10 years and I look forward to each issue. I haven't had a chance to go to any workshops ... Reunions magazine is a reunion workshop in itself."

"The Lake County Family Reunion Workshop was an excellent way for family reunion planners to learn about Lake County. I live in Illinois but never knew what the Lake County area offered. I walked away more knowledgeable of the area. I would encourage anyone involved with their family reunion to participate in these workshops." - Helen Denham, Riverdale, Illinois
